South Korea’s Gaon Music Chart has just released the list of albums and songs that dominated 2018.

In the overall Album Chart for 2018, BTS copped the first two places. Their “Love Yourself: Answer” album, released on Aug. 24, topped the year-end chart with 2.19 million copies sold. Their album “Love Yourself: Tear,” released on May 18, grabbed second place with 1.84 million copies in sales. The two albums were certified double million and million, respectively.

EXO placed third when their album “Don’t Mess Up My Tempo” sold 1.45 million copies.

Wanna One grabbed the fourth to sixth places. Their “0+1=1 (I PROMISE YOU)” is in fourth place with 782,562 copies sold, followed by “1÷x=1 (UNDIVIDED),” 641,131; and “1¹¹=1 (POWER OF DESTINY),” 605,128.

EXO’s “Love Shot” placed seventh with 499,849 copies sold followed by Seventeen’s “You Make My Day” 389,937; EXO-CBX’s “Blooming Days,” 363,56; and TWICE’s “What Is Love?,” 348,797.

The 11th to 20th places are BTS’ “Love Yourself: Her,” 333,420; GOT7’s “Eyes On You,” 332,580; NCT’s “NCT 2018 Empathy,” 330,335; GOT7’s “Present: You,” 326,754; TWICE’s “Yes Or Yes,” 325,761; TWICE’s “Summer Nights,” 314,421; NCT 127’s “NCT #127 Regular-Irregular,” 292,341; NU’EST W’s “WHO, YOU,” 250,810; Monsta X’s “Take. 1 Are You There?,” 239,137; and SHINee member Jonghyun’s “Poet l Artist,” 235,965. Album sales on Amazon were also counted for Gaon charts.

While BTS dominated the physical album chart, iKON reigned on digital charts.

In the overall Digital Chart for 2018, based on downloads, streaming and BGM sales, iKON’s “Love Scenario” is No. 1 with a total index of 1.23 billion.

In second place is Jang Deok Cheol’s “Good Old Days,” 1.14 billion; Paul Kim’s – “Every Day, Every Moment,” 1 billion; Momoland” “BBoom BBoom,” 968.97 million; BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” 940.21 million; Nilo’s “Pass,” 939 million; Melomance’s “Gift,” 915.84 million; Shaun’s “Way Back Home,” 877 million; Roy Kim’s “Only Then,” 870.44 million; and Bolbbalgan4’s “Travel,” 861.21 million.
